Connect your own form
Connect your own form (web-to-lead)
Keep the form you already built in Webflow, WordPress, or plain HTML — point it at the KudosCRM inbound endpoint and we'll map common fields onto a new lead automatically.
Updated June 2026
Web-to-lead is the pattern where a form on your own website posts its submissions to your CRM, so each one becomes a lead automatically. You're not rebuilding the form — you're redirecting where its data goes.
In KudosCRM this is what inbound forms do. You create an inbound form, copy its endpoint, and point your existing form at it. When a submission arrives, KudosCRM auto-maps common fields onto a new lead — with the source attached — and can fan the same submission out to other tools by webhook.
Who this is for
Marketers and developers who already have a working form and don't want to rebuild it. Comfort editing your form's action or handler (or a developer who can) is needed.
Before you start
- An existing web form on your site (Webflow, WordPress, custom HTML, and so on).
- Permission to manage inbound forms / integrations in KudosCRM.
How field mapping works
When a submission arrives at the inbound endpoint, KudosCRM auto-maps common fields — name, email, phone, and company — onto a new lead. Send those fields with clear, standard names and they line up without extra configuration.
Connect your form, step by step
Open inbound forms
In KudosCRM, go to Forms → inbound (your own / external forms) and create a new inbound form. Give it a clear name like 'Webflow — contact page'.
Copy your inbound endpoint
KudosCRM gives you the endpoint URL to POST submissions to. Copy it.
Point your form at the endpoint
In your form's settings, set its submission target — the form's action, or your form handler's POST destination — to the inbound endpoint.
Use clear field names
Make sure your form sends standard fields like name, email, phone, and company so they auto-map. A typical contact form might send John Anderson, john.anderson@apextech.com, +1 415 555 0142, Apex Technologies.
Submit a test
Submit your live form once. Confirm a new lead appears under Leads with the mapped fields populated and the source attached.
(Optional) Fan out to webhooks
If other systems need the same submission — a data warehouse, Zapier, Make, or a custom ingest — add outbound webhooks. You can send each submission to up to 20 destinations.
What you get
- A new lead record per submission, with common fields mapped automatically.
- Source, campaign, and UTM attached, so attribution is captured on the way in.
- Duplicate matching, so the same person isn't added twice.
- Up to 20 outbound webhooks to fan the submission out to other tools.
